White Line Prints

The white line woodblock print, also known at the "Provincetown Print" is a unique form invented around 1915 by a group of early artists of the Provincetown Art Colony. The tradition has been handed down and continues today. Images are carved into a wooden block and hand colored using watercolors rather than printing inks.
