Join me for my Provincetown Print workshop on October 25th in Studio 205 at “The 204” Cultural Arts Municipal Building
204 Sisson Road, Harwich, MA
This one-day workshop is a hands-on introduction to the technique of white line woodblock printmaking,
also known as "the Provincetown Print".
The history of the method and its invention in P-town in the early 1900's will be shared. Participants with then learn how to transfer their drawing, carve the block and create their own personal prints. Join us as we follow in the footsteps of a long line of artists who have embraced this uniquely Cape Cod method of creating.
*All tools and materials are provided. Students are asked only to bring along original, simple line drawings (think children's coloring book pages) approximately 6"x8". (If even that seems like too much, I have some simple images I will be happy to share for you to use.)
