Bernadette Corbett Waystack is a painter, teacher and Benedictine oblate whose work explores the concept of painting as prayer. She works primarily in oils and pastel and also with textiles creating art quilts and fiber collage.
She is an artist in residence at the Harwich Cultural Center located in Studio A-05.
She holds a B.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.A. in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Her work has been shown in exhibitions at Cape Cod Museum of Art, Provincetown Art Association and Museum and is found in private and corporate collections regionally. She is represented by Larkin Gallery in Provincetown and Post Office Gallery in North Truro, MA.
